DAF Trucks N.V. is a fully owned subsidiary of the North-American corporation PACCAR Inc. DAF Trucks’ core activities are focused on the development, production, marketing and sale of medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles. DAF Trucks has production facilities in Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Westerlo (Belgium). Thanks to its high efficiency and the world class manufacturing and products, the company has established a strong competitive position on the European market.

The production site in Westerlo has been using SAP since 2005. The initial scope included personnel administration, organizational management, time management and payroll integration. This scope was extended with training management later on. YOU Consulting today succesfully supports all aspects of the implementation providing a wide range of services such as solving technical issues, setting up new legislation, new Time and Payroll collective labour agreements, communication with the payroll provider, functional business support. All this in close collaboration with internal IT. SAP HCM was implemented at the production site in Eindhoven starting from 2011. The initial scope included the replacement of their current employee master data system extending it with training management functionalities.
